Natalie Hutton

Business Owner

A little bit about me:

My husband and I really love ‘the good life’ of living as self sufficiently as possible by eating what we grow; and it’s because of this passion and my background in horticulture that I decided to take the plunge and start my own little business.

I studied Horticulture at York College in 2018 and am RHS level 2 qualified. It was here that I was recognised as having dyslexia – something that came as a relief after finding school and education harder than others. I am so happy to now be able to use my experience gained since then and my passion to progress my business.

So why am I so passionate? I really want to make a difference by helping others to be able to grow their own – whether it be plants, flowers, fruit, veg, or even grass - no matter what space you have available. You can make a beautiful garden on a small budget.

With concerns ever growing about the environment we live in, there is no better way to do your bit by providing flowers for the bees, or a well kept lawn, or growing your own food produce – the list of benefits for having a garden space is endless.

What can I help you with? My services include:

Weeding
Planting
Lawn mowing & edging
Grow your own tutorials
Pruning
and general maintenence

And in true ‘Good Life’ style, I keep chickens – 4 of them. They produce incredible tasting eggs. I am more than happy to off load any wisdom gained through this journey if anyone is thinking about getting some egg-layers themselves. It’s been an interesting and fun ride so far! Keep up to date with our news articles.....
